Approach and Methodology
Our training sessions are participative and non-threatening. In order to raise awareness, share experience and impart knowledge where appropriate, a forum is created where constructive debates are facilitated.
The training sessions are usually adapted to the participants; we draw on their experience in order to bring the training as close to their reality as possible.
The training will try to maximise the experience of participants. In collaboration with the organising committee and after initial consultation with participants or their representatives, the consultants will draft and adapt training materials for subsequent sessions with Trainers.
An initial meeting with the organising committee is important to ensure that objectives are understood and to clarify both the ambitions and constraints of the training sessions. This will also help identify the profile and specific skill sets and experience of participants involved, e.g. knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity. In addition, an assessment questionnaire can be sent to the participants to help the training respond to specific issues and expectations.
Depending on the outcome of the meeting with the organising committee, the proposed methodology can be adapted.
The idea is to first conduct a general Intercultural Training and to follow up with a specific Training for Trainers; it is important that the acquired awareness remains inside the organisation.
